Desired Skills and Experience
- You will be responsible for the stability of the production and test environments as used by our Scrum teams
- You will help maintain and improve the release process, using continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies
- You will help maintain and improve the automated testing platforms used by our Scrum teams
- You will help implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting technology for use by our Scrum teams and business stakeholders
- You are highly competent in multiple coding/scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc), and have no problem diving into a new one when the need arises
- You have excellent Unix/Linux knowledge
- You are knowledgeable with version control systems (i.e. git) usage, administration, writing commit hooks, etc
- You have experience with cloud- or container-based computing (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
- You are effective in an Agile working environment
- You are comfortable sharing your knowledge, mentoring more junior team members, and working across team boundaries
