Desired Skills and Experience

• Provide in depth technical support to the Platform managers
• Responsible for reviewing and agreeing all change activities and supporting the wider business change process.
• Owning the technical relationship with the GTS design and engineering teams
• Driving the relationship with OIT and GDC for the support and delivery of security functionality on an operational basis.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience of security infrastructure controls such as Detection/Prevention System (IDS/IPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Content Filtering, Anti-virus, etc.
• 5-10 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of various Cyber Attack methods and mitigation types including DDoS attacks, Web Application Attacks, vulnerability exploitations, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of IP networks and routing protocols.
• Ability to support Security platform SMEs in the identification and resolution of complex technical issues
• Experience of managing and running change activities on major operational platforms
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Having UK SC security clearance is desirable
• Information security or advanced networking certifications including, but not limited to CISSP, CISM, CCIE, JNCIE, etc
