Desired Skills and Experience

A degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science/ Bioinformatics or equivalent and substantial relevant experience. (E)
Experience in front-end web application development
Design and management of a distributed multi-server system.
Linux VM setup and provisioning, preferably Ubuntu.
Expert knowledge of JavaScript (Node.js)
System administration and scripting
Front-end web application development
A high level of communication skills to be able to elicit complex requirements from, and convey complex requirements to, groups with differing technical backgrounds
Ability to prioritise tasks, organise work effectively and crucially, work within a team environment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate and give positive input and discussion at meetings
