- BS in comp sci, computer engineering, math or similar training
- Data modeling / optimization, data structures and algorithms
- Great understanding of core network technologies; IP/TCP/HTTP/SSL/Websockets etc
- Experience with nginx and AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
- Knowledge of UI frameworks such as React.js, jQuery, Bootstrap etc.
- Excellent knowledge of backend web frameworks such as Django or Rails
- Excellent understanding and experience with RESTful web APIs
- Working experience and deployment on linux
- Scalability: DB, Caching, CDN, async tasks etc.
- Dev-ops / linux / CI / Deployment
- Image/video processing, computer vision, opencv etc
- Instagram/Facebook/Twitter API development
- Experience with i18n and L10n
- OS X desktop app development
- Mobile development iOS or Android
- Embedded firmware development (C, C++, Assembly)
- Bluetooth or other wireless protocols
- Electronics prototyping, ARM devices
- Graphics programming; canvas, webgl, opengl
