- Strong Linux knowledge and experience, preferable Ubuntu/Debian
- Strong Python development experience
- 2+ years of experience with deploying Node.js based solutions into production
- 2+ years of experience working with MongoDB on a Replica Set
- 2+ years of experience deploying and configuring Nginx
- 2+ years of strong knowledge and experience with AWS: EC2, VPC, S3, Route 53, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, Inspector, IAM, ElastiCache, Simple Email Service, Simple Notification Service, Simple Queue Service, Lambda, Steps
- Experience with Salt Stack or other State based orchestration and configuration management software
- Experience in CI/CD tools (Shippable, Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS, etc)
- Experience with Docker
- Networking knowledge, specially Software Defined Networks (SDN) a big plus.
- Experience with other container technologies: LXD, Kubernetes, etc
- Node.js development experience a plus
- Experience building and maintaining Graphite / Grafana
- Experience with PM2
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Vault
- Experience building a Linux distro from scratch
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional a huge plus
