Desired Skills and Experience
- Operate in a multi-faceted role including elements of (script-level) implementation / engineering, Solution Architecture design and Project Management
- Work with Subject Matter Experts, Sales Teams and Clients to determine the best hybrid cloud billing solution, using the Exivity software suite
- Comprehend business strategies and requirements and develop necessary designs and plans to ensure Exivity solutions satisfy the customer billing and cost reporting needs
- Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion
- Actively listen to client problems and consider that information when creating solution plans
- Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects
- Consistently monitor the scope of your projects, and flag (potential) risks
- Produce high quality hand-over documentation for customer-specific projects
- Maintain communication with the development team, providing product feedback and working with them to resolve escalated support issues if necessary
- Maintain understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture
- Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry
- Mentor, educate, and train colleagues as requested
- Background in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of work experience in a comparable role
- Proven history of designing and implementing innovative and effective Enterprise IT solutions
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner
- Experience with database and general system management (Windows, Linux)
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Powershell, Bash, Python, Perl etc)
- Willingness to travel on occasion
