Desired Skills and Experience

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development
Proficiency in at least one of these disciplines:
Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS
Systems programming
Network programming
Experience using large scale software development in one of these languages: Net, C#
Experience using system and software security and entitlements such as SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD
Experience with new and emerging technologies such as cloud and virtualization â¢ At least 5+ years of strong Windows Engineering/Automation experience â¢ Expert automation experience that follows software development disciplines with knowledge of PowerShell, .NET, C#, web services, RESTful API, SQL â¢ Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following configuration management systems on Windows server platform (PowerShell DSC, SCCM, Puppet, Chef, Ansible) â¢ Ability to research new technologies and implement quick proof of concepts to determine the benefits â¢ Experience with virtualization and cloud deployments using VMware, VMM, Hyper-V, Azure and AWS â¢ Knowledge of common IT processes, including ITIL, Ci/CD and SDLC. â¢ Excellent communications and mentoring skills, both within the immediate team and to external teams
