Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience setting up and running production systems on AWS
- Hands on experience with AWS EC2, RDS, Route53, S3, Cloudfront, etc.
- A very good command of either AWS Opsworks or Chef
- Excellent english communication skills (german not required)
- Experience working with and for software engineering teams
- Docker
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS or AWS Fargate)
- MongoDB or Aurora
- Autoscaling
- AWS Elasticsearch
- Chef 12 and AWS Opsworks
- Build, Manage and monitor our AWS infrastructure
- Develop Chef 12 recipes to improve the deployment of PHP stack applications with AWS Opsworks
- Improve the ECS based deployment of our Java microservice stack
- Support frontend deployments to CDN with Cloudfront
- Manage our Amazon Aurora and MongoDB Atlas instances
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to find fast and sustainable solutions for their infrastructure needs
- You will shape the cloud infrastructure to deliver millions of parcels across europe
