- Ensure that sites and systems continuously and consistently run smoothly, optimally, efficiently and reliably
- Deliver agreed levels of service for Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure
- Oversee AWS Network Infrastructure
- Manage and scheduled maintenance of AWS deployments
- Troubleshoot and restore sites to full performance optimization, as required
- Oversee day-to-day operations, escalations, and communications
- Manage and implement security checklists for Linux systems and AWS infrastructure
- Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and execute change control
- Disaster Recovery
- Manage security of production infrastructure, systems and application in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements
- Strong experience setting up and automating high availability data clusters
- Experience managing Linux (CentOS) environments in AWS
- Extensive knowledge of application monitoring
- Familiarity with MySQL & RDS
- Automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Familiarity with networking technologies such as routing, switching and load balancing
- Experience working with Jira and git
- 8+ years leading data center or technical operations organizations where high availability is a requirement
- 5+ years cloud infrastructure experience
- 3+ years automation tools
- Experience with vendor management
