Desired Skills and Experience
- A “can-do” attitude, capability of bootstrapping projects, and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal and external distributed teams across the project lifecycle
- Demonstrable experience in Release Engineering, DevOps and Configuration Management
- Strong familiarity with source code repositories and change management tools, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with agile development practices, continuous integration and test automation (TDD, BDD, Selenium)
- Experience automating release and build processes using Jenkins
- Experience with configuration and deployment management tools, e.g. UrbanCode, Ansible
- Skilled in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Ruby, Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with the Container Ecosystem and principles around developing Cloud-Native applications
- Experience across the entire software development life-cycle from inception, through build to production
