- Deployment of software packages into PPRO’s processing & issuing infrastructure
- Installation, upgrade and maintenance of servers / operating systems
- Maintain the infrastructure monitoring / event management service
- React on events of the monitoring service and fix the issues immediately (Incident Management)
- Handling the Change and Problem Management processes
- Design and implement infrastructure services in co-operation with other functional teams

- extensive expert experience in FreeBSD and FreeBSD virtual environments
- Extensive expert experience in managing firewalls with PF
- Actual programming or configuration experience with at least three components of our native stack (NginX, C++/Python/Ice, uWSGI/PHP/FCGI, MariaDB/MySQL, Reacht/JS, FreeBSD Jails)
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and technologies
- Experience as IT Infrastructure Specialist
- Interpersonal skills and the will to work in teams

- Communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical individuals at various organizational levels (external and internal.)
- Experience with SQL database administration (replication, basic queries, monitoring
- Strong knowledge of shell scripting, or at least one other scripting language (i.e., Python or Perl)

- Hands-on experience in automation with Ansible
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific, engineering or technical field or equivalent practical experience
