Desired Skills and Experience

•  Provision, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows environments (physical and virtual)
• Performs primary OS administration for these systems such as monitoring, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Research and recommend emerging technologies to increase cost effectiveness, system ability and future expandability.
• Provide application and system support to internal departments
• Documenting systems and application procedures to support our groups and their lifecycle
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing of job duties to capitalize on SLAs
• Participate in on-call rotation
• 5+ years’ experience with Windows OS design, implementation and administration preferred
• 2+ years’ experience supporting and administering environments with SLAs
• Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS and GPO development.
• Strong PowerShell / WMI Scripting knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of networking & service protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, SSH, RDP)
• Understanding of server hardware, networking and its’ security
• Great communication skills and documentation habits
• Strong desire and ability to learn
• MCSA or MCSE with relevant experience is a plus
• PKI Management
• Azure experience
