Desired Skills and Experience
- Lead the design, development, test, and documentation of the orchestration and deployment framework to manage multi-tenant public cloud-based application services
- Be the primary technical point of contact with customers for all Operational discussions
- Develop and incorporate monitoring tools for Operations
- Lead SysOps/DevOps day-to-day operations, field issues management, and configuration optimization
- Responsible for service delivery in the Production environment
- Own all performance analytics for application services, and responsible for providing data for capacity planning and traffic forecasting
- Manage applications services and ensure alignment to SLA requirements
- Manage support tickets internally and externally, driving the coordination for RCA determination
- Deliver customer presentations and lead discussions as required, and incorporate customer feedback into the release management process
- Strong background in Continuous Deployment of services in AWS Cloud
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, preferably holding an AWS SysOps Associate certification
- 4-6 years of SOA design, services development, & services deployment experience
- Operations team management for a Services organization
- Experience delivering RESTful server and client implementations
- Experience with Git source code control
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of open-source libraries and packages
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics
- Performance optimization and performance management in a Cloud Services environment
- Hands-on experience crafting, implementing, and consuming container-based application services.
- Arlington, VA
- Up to 30% travel will be required in this position, domestically or internationally as deemed necessary to the growth and expansion of the Company.
