Backend Software Engineer at Iris Automation (San Francisco, CA)

Desired Skills and Experience

• Managing server architectures and load optimization
• Building and improving internal tools for handling test and customer flight data
• Crafting and deploying internal data storage infrastructures and APIs for internal use
• Proficiency coding in Python, and PHP
• Comfortability with directly handling critical backend infrastructure
• Deep understanding and prior experience with the LAMP stack
• Prior experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance (MySQL, Postgres)
• Highly proficient understanding of file systems
• Familiarity with the protocol stack
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related field (computer engineering/science) or 4+ years of professional experience
• Familiarity with docker, AWS, Azure
• Working knowledge of HTML/DOM/CSS/Browser APIs
• Experience coding in C++
