Desired Skills and Experience

• You will partner with architects and engineers working as an Agile team to deploy solutions on AWS
• You will manage and properly document support issues related to the applications owned by the team
• You will monitor alerts for OS, storage, application and infrastructure to keep track of problems proactively
• You will create and modify as needed CloudFormation templates to reliably deploy applications
• You will build a detailed understanding of the AWS implementation within the organization (technologies, policies, procedures) and guide the developers and architects
• You will lead data/service migration projects
• You will actively monitor and manage costs
• You will research, recommend, and follow best practices for AWS-based solutions
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent • 3+ years of relevant experience in a DevOps role
• 2+ years of experience in deploying applications on AWS
• Understanding of IP Networking/CIDR blocks etc. within AWS VPC
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
• Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
• AWS Certification – Developer / DevOps Engineer
• Experience with web delivered software using AngularJS, Bootstrap
