Desired Skills and Experience

• We want you to help manage the LAMP stack but there’s other things too - Couchbase, Redis, kafka, RabbitMQ and Tomcat.  There’s a lot of internally-written systems.
• We write our code in PHP, Java and Javascript, making heavy use of NodeJS.  There’s the usual mixture of bash, a little Python, some Ruby, the odd bit of perl.  Source control is Git.
• We use Chef, Graphite, Nagios, NewRelic, Splunk, Hadoop, Riverbed Stingrays.  Where we need raw power and low latency we use our datacentres when we need flexibility and agility we use AWS.
• We’re a RHEL/CentOS house.
