  • Setup, troubleshooting, tuning and operation of CDH based Hadoop clusters
  • Implementation of modern security mechanisms
  • Support our application engineering team

  • Investigate and try new technologies independently
  • Deep knowledge regarding Kerberos, OpenLDAP, Active Directory
  • Strong experience with Linux and scripting languages (bash, sh, perl, python)
  • Bachelor or equivalent experience in a technical field (i.e. Compute
  • Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong Bugtracking, debugging and logfile deep dive skills (JVM, jstack, strace…)
  • Proven working knowledge of Hadoop (CDH), Kalfka, Storm..
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Sala,) and IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ)
  • Knowledge of other programming languages preferred e.g. Ruby, JS, C/C++/C#
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and evolving technology in the big data and analytics (open source) world
  • Experience with distributed computation, in-memory and batch processing
  • Knowledge of databases (relational, NoSQL)
