Desired Skills and Experience
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and JPMC policies
- Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies such as: Distributed Unix, Linux and Windows.
- Experience with technical architecture, design, or infrastructure build expertise
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
- Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
- Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firm in order to influence strategic priorities
- Experience leveraging public cloud solutions including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Kafka and Cassandra experience a plus
- Experience supporting, operating, or architecting Middleware web, application, and messaging platforms
- Experience with High Availability/Sustained Resiliency design principles
- Experience with creating technical designs to ensure technology interoperability, document existing and proposed infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers, and provide fourth tier troubleshooting/ support
