Desired Skills and Experience
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Intermediate understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
- Knowledge of more than one specific infrastructure technology
- Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
- Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies such as: (Distributed Unix, Linux and Windows)
- Experience with technical architecture, design, or infrastructure build expertise
- Proven ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
- Support an environment that identifies opportunities to develop others through mentorship and leading by example
- Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firm in order to influence strategic priorities
- Ability to execute with understanding of best practices and JPMC policies top of mind
- Knowledge of cloud based technologies
- Experience supporting, operating, or architecting Middleware web, application, and messaging platforms
- Experience with High Availability/Sustained Resiliency design principles
- Create technical designs to ensure technology interoperability, document existing and proposed infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers, and provide fourth tier troubleshooting/ support
