Desired Skills and Experience

  • Communicate effectively with customers, researchers and others outside Citrix who report potential vulnerabilities in Citrix products.
  • Manage the vulnerability remediation cycle across practice areas including the creation of CVE’s
  • Triage and analyze reports to determine their severity and technical risk.
  • Develop and publish Citrix Security Bulletins.
  • Investigate the potential wider impact of vulnerabilities to determine their effect on other Citrix products and solutions.
  • Coordinate with Citrix engineering during the fix process.
  • Are persistent, determined, quality-focused and pragmatic.
  • Have excellent communication, organizational and cross-functional skills.
  • Experienced in working across Windows, Linux and other operating systems.
  • Have proven experience in, or aptitude for, Cloud security.
  • Proven security experience within software engineering.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cyber Security.
  • Ability to assume the leadership role working across multiple Product Security Engineers within various geographies
  • Interest in debugging, root cause analysis and security vulnerabilities.
  • Existing experience with Security Response, Incident Response, or Exploit Development
  • Experience in multiple languages and runtimes such as C, C++, C#, Java, Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, and Mac development
  • Security engineering certifications
  • Aptitude for breaking things and finding the root cause
  • Strong code reading skills
