Job description

The scope of this role is to provide second level support for a suite of applications in Banking and Portal team. Analyst will have opportunity to get exposure to new technologies including but not limited to Automation, Geneos, SQL, Shell scripting, Amazon Web Services, etc.
Responsibilities

Provi - des 24x7 First and Second level application support. Is first to react to monitor event. Assures problem calls are tracked, routed properly and closed. Coverage will include non-business hours, which may result in evening and weekend support remotely or onsite Code

3-5 + - years of application support experience in an enterprise level environment Appli - cation Support experience in UNIX and Windows environments Apach - e Web Server, understanding of reverse proxy settings and virtual servers and SSL certificates Solid - Understanding of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL and Informatica Basic - Understanding of J2EE standards and applications Solid - Understanding TCP/IP net working and firewall and routing technologies Probl - em Solving & Analytical Skills Respo - nsiveness, Pro-activeness, with excellent communication skills Team - Player Monit - oring tools Finan - cial background/experience, Perl scripting is a plus Basic - Java or understanding or some high level language, MQ Series
