Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Responsible for IT setup of new hires including computer terminals, desk phones, cell phones, wifi, printers, fax, and scanning capabilities;

·         Responsible for implementing, updating, and security of all internal workstations, servers, and network systems;

·         Responsible for data backup procedures;

·         Create a short course that trains end users on company computer infrastructure and systems used and/or available within the company;

·         Responsible for the timely and thorough response to individual users who are experiencing IT problems including the investigation and resolution of hardware, networking or communication problems and issues for both in-house and remote users;

·         Administrator for Windows 2008/2012/2016 File Servers, Active Directory user, Exchange Servers, and LAN/WAN network;

·         Maintain integrity of internal wired and wireless networks, including maintenance and installation of network jacks, Cat5/6 cabling, and wireless access points;

·         Maintain inventory of all hardware devices for both remote and in-house users as well as tagging all devices with asset tags;

·         Participate in the selection of software and required infrastructure to support various engineering disciplines;

·         Develop training support for software library and serve as administrator;

·         Thoroughly knowledgeable in managing and correcting issues with MS Office 365 and other Cloud based software;

·         Manage and maintain all communication systems (phone, video conferencing, etc.); and,

·         Other IT related duties as assigned.


·         Bilingual- English/ Chinese- Mandarin Required;

·         Five (5) plus years of hands-on technology infrastructure implementation and maintenance experience;

·         Strong ability in problem solving, maintaining an IT infrastructure, and the ability to deliver on deadlines;

·         The ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, shifting priority projects;

·         Must have availability during off work hours for IT emergencies;

·         Hands on experience and proficiency using the following technologies:

              § Workstations and related software;

              § Servers and Windows Server 2018, 2012, 2016 and File System Management;

              § Networks and related software; and,

              § Knowledge of Telephone Systems.
