Job description

Job Title: ** Deployment Solutions Engineer**

Job Summary:

We are continuing to expand our team and are looking for a Deployment Solutions Engineer to join some of the industry’s brightest minds that are dedicated to providing our customers and partners with security value and outcomes. The Deployment Architecture Team works with our partners and enterprise customers on key improvements that enhance integration and increase automation of Alert Logic deployments in their DevOps environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in software development lifecycle
  • Experience with public clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Strong Linux or Windows administration skills
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Understanding of automation tools: Cloud Formation Templates, Chef, Puppet, Ansible

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Establish relationships with partner and customer integration teams
  • Technically present and design/implement integrations between Alert Logic and customer infrastructure
  • Effectively communicate with all resource levels, from CIO to admin level individuals and group
  • Implement and Integrate Alert Logic products into customer and partner platforms
  • Design workflow and reference architectures for new product or cloud deployments
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Manage, monitor and report on progress of projects to stakeholders
  • Enable DevOps and automation tools to facilitate customer integrations
  • Drive overall automation objectives and ensure uniformity, repeatability and accuracy of delivered tool and automated processes

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in customer facing technical role
  • Knowledge of security best practices related to Cloud, operating systems, and networks
  • A self-starter capable of working independently
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Great “ownership of the issue” attitude with high energy

BA / BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
