Taos is immediately hiring a Technical Project Coordinator to work with a cutting-edge tech company in Austin, TX!
Who You Are
You are a self-motivated Project Coordinator with a background in data center technology and a desire to learn. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills allow you to interface with a variety of stakeholders across an organization. You are detail and results oriented, able to collaborate with others to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks. Your strong organizational and time management skills help you meet all deadlines associated with your projects. You are looking to bring your project coordination skills to a global organization where some of the world’s smartest, most passionate people create innovative products and experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with server systems patching projects in correlation with a PCI audit

  • Using commercial tools to analyze the effectiveness of firewall rules, router configurations, and host-based firewalls

  • Summarizing test results at the conclusion of testing, communicating control deficiencies, and providing recommendations for remediation

  • Managing the lifecycle of user authentication (including review, approve and provision tokens for user authentication, and enable locked user accounts)

  • Conducting periodic audits of users and groups in the authentication system

  • Performing other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring With You

  • At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in one or more of these areas: internet security, auditing, control assessment, PCI DSS, IS/IT auditing, IS/IT policy development, risk assessments or federal regulatory compliance for information protection

  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routers, firewalls, IP addressing, and ACL administration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail

  • Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
