JOB SUMMARY FOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER:

  • The Salesforce Developer will be part of a cross-functional team tasked with ongoing development of Salesforce in a dynamic work environment.

  • The Salesforce Engineer develops, maintains, and provides technical expertise while delivering solutions from defined business requirements in a timely manner on an Agile team.

  • This role is primarily focused on Salesforce software development but also will perform duties as required as a Salesforce systems administrator.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce software development experience Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Apex and Salesforce APIs

  • Experience in Salesforce point and click configuration using workflows, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards etc.,

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce application coupled with good understanding of the business processes (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud capabilities including Pardot)

  • Must have extensive experience with Salesforce data loader and other tools for import, export and update of data in Salesforce

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs

  • Collaborate with other technologist on the team to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business need

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, etc) is a plus

  • Experience and judgement of when to use declarative features versus custom code to help reduce technical debt

  • Strong communication skills with a desire to innovate

  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies

  • Drive end-user adoption by assisting in day-to-day Salesforce CRM support, including the management of system upgrades, releases, and change control processes.

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce changes and enhancements.

  • Develop system documentation and SFDC policies/procedures.

  • Maintains multiple user profiles, role hierarchy, security, and sharing rules, and other Salesforce.com out-of-the-box access features.

  • Perform data integrity (rules and merging records) functions establishing proper ownership and record type maintenance in accordance with sales territories.

  • Conduct QA Tests on changes to Salesforce.com deployment including managing multiple sandbox instances

  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting.

  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users.

  • Work with custom workflow, notifications, approval processes, and Lightning Process Builder.

  • Develop reports and dashboards for various teams and departments throughout the organization. Guide them with self-service report writing and dashboard maintenance.

  • Drive Product roadmap and enhancements to ensure they meet the strategic goals of the business.

  • Maintain data quality by identifying, deleting or merging duplicate records, cleansing and updating inaccurate data.

  • Assist in the implementation of security practices by monitoring login and user activity, auditing fields, profile access, security permissions and de-activating unneeded user accounts

  • Make improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences.

  • Perform analysis, administration, troubleshooting, testing, software, and data environment refreshes as needed.

  • Continuously improve Salesforce.com skills through professional development.

  • Act as backup to Salesforce Administrator

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience using Lightening, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Apex and Salesforce APIs

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Developer

  • Salesforce Certified Lightning Consultant

  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

  • Salesforce Certified Servive Cloud Consultant

  • Experience with cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integration technologies a plus
