Job description

We are looking for a forward-thinking Technical Customer Support Representative. As a Support Rep at SnapStream, you will deliver enterprise level technical and workflow support to end-users of our TV Search solutions via phone, email or chat, perform on-site installation and training for customers (roughly 5-10% travel per year), properly identify and escalate priority issues and feature requests to the Development Team, and demonstrate consistent deep understanding of the administrative and end-user features of our TV software.


  • Excellent face-to-face, phone, and email interpersonal skills, rapport and etiquette
  • 2+ years providing technical support to users in B2B environment
  • Experience with common Networking, PC and Mac troubleshooting tools
  • Deep understanding of IP networks, TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Real passion for servicing customers and a strong urge to tackle their problems
  • Shown sense of ownership, accountability and quality - not satisfied with mediocrity
  • Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure while demonstrating perseverance and patience
  • Experience with client and server computer hardware
  • Experience with network architecture and hardware
  • Experience with ticketing software
  • Experience in writing technical knowledge base articles for customer use
  • Ability to travel 5-10%

Nice to have

  • Experience with TV broadcasting or cable/satellite television systems
