Job description

As an ErisX DevOps engineer you will be working with highly skilled development and operations teams to ensure that ErisX is able to quickly, reliably and repeatedly deploy new features while maintaining the high availability of our critical systems that is required in the financial industry. In addition to deploying features safely and reliably, you will also be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for market operations and development teams to diagnose and solve technical issues
  • Design and develop monitoring systems, tools, and processes to improve reliability
  • Design, implement, and automate configuration of cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Formulate procedures to increase system stability, performance and uptime
  • Work with development and operations teams to create and deploy new features
  • Improve and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines

Experience

  • Highly experiences in task automation, orchestration, monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting
  • Proven experience working with multiple project teams concurrently
  • Familiarity Configuring and managing certificates for large scale distributed systems
  • Experience working with highly available distributed systems
  • Bonus: Financial industry experience

Skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of Linux systems
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration
  • Working knowledge of Java, Bash and Ruby
  • Ansible or other configuration management tools
  • NoSQL databases
  • Message Brokers
  • Consul
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
