Job description

Job Purpose
An ICE IT Support Analyst is part of the team responsible for corporate desktop and server support. While most responsibilities are local, support for some remote employees or systems is periodically required. The position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.

  • Desktop Support – Managing MS Windows, Macintosh and some Linux

  • Mobile Device Support – Managing Blackberry, Apple, and other mobile devices

  • Hardware and Software Deployment - PC and laptop imaging

  • AD and Exchange Provisioning – User, Group, and DL maintenance

  • File and Print Server Management – Permissioning and troubleshooting

  • Phone Provisioning - Managing Cisco VOIP phone and directory configuration

  • Purchasing - Managing the IT purchasing workflow

  • Support Ticket Management - Managing IT support queue

  • Documents and effectively publishes IT Analyst responsibilities and repeatable processes

  • Organizes weekly peer conference calls and documents minutes

  • Reports on local support queue statistics and ensures tickets are closed timely

  • Improves processes and introduces superior technology

  • Takes initiative to learn and perform IT Engineer core duties
    Knowledge And Experience

  • College degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline

  • Mac and UNIX familiarity

  • Experience in an exchange, trading facility, or financial services
