ERP Business Analyst For more than 45 years, BLM Technologies has been a leading single-source provider of technology solutions and services to the financial, hospitality, retail, education, healthcare, and government industries. As a company on an impressive growth trajectory, we are looking for a professional ERP Business Analyst to work with a variety of departments operating on an Infor Service Management/CloudSuite Field Service 5.3 (ISM/CSFS) software, supporting electronic transactions, and a variety of enterprise-wide applications. In this role, you are responsible for: Developing and documenting system functional requirements and mapping for new or changing applications and executing necessary production support activities. Providing knowledge and understanding as a technical expert in the area of ERP systems. ISM/CSFS development in version 5.3 multi-site environment. Conducting business analysis for requirements generation, database design, and development. Performing database management software system upgrades. Providing ongoing end-user training and support for ERP modules and forms. Maintaining and automating essential tasks to ensure ISM/CSFS is running optimally. Driving the customization and adaptation of reports using SSRS Reporting. Identifying, proposing, and influencing business solutions. Working directly with business partners to understand business objectives and formulate solutions (systems, processes, and procedures) to parallel and strengthen overall business strategies. Advising the project teams to ensure traceability of business requirements through all stages of development. Conducting assessment/solution activities to define multiple small projects/enhancements or single, medium-sized projects. As needed, tracking the team's activities and metrics, developing reports, analyzing metrics for trends and making recommendations for improvement. Providing production support based on an on-call rotation that will require knowledge of our applications and include activities such as performing configuration updates, and testing production fixes; working with outsourced vendors. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES The successful candidate for this role must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Business Analyst experience with an ERP system, especially Infor products (ISM/CSFS specifically) is required. Prior Infor developer/designer experience with working knowledge of Infor Forecasting, SSRS.
Experience writing T-SQL queries in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts, including primary and foreign keys, indexes, inner and outer joins.
Able to interpret, understand, and maintain existing stored procedures, scripts, user-defined functions, and views.
Possess strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Understand basic database administration.
Possess a high degree of skill and self-reliance, as there are no technical resources other than written documentation and database objects themselves.
Can effectively interact and collaborate with internal and external customers with professional patience, tact, and diplomacy.
Listens actively to understand and interpret internal and external customer requirements.
Demonstrates excellent professional communication skills and proper grammar in all forms of business communications.
Exhibits superior organizational and time management skills and can efficiently and effectively handle a myriad of duties simultaneously while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent degree is required. Experience: 5-7 years’ experience as Systems Administrator/Business Analyst, Infor products preferred. Experience with Infor functionality in v5.3 or v5.0 or above environments, or ISM/CSFS environments.5-7 years’ experience in database management and report writing utilizing Crystal Reports or SSRS report writing software, SQL Server experience preferred. Experience with Infor Service Management/CloudSuite Field Service ERP system highly preferred. This full-time position is located in Plymouth, MN. No travel is required.
