We have a casual office, free food, and great people, and we are currently seeking our newest team member.We are looking for a forward-thinking Technical Customer Support Representative with a high sense of ownership who can cover our overnight hours (US Central time) towards providing 24-hour coverage. This can be a remote position or Houston-based. As a Support Rep at SnapStream, you will deliver enterprise level technical and workflow support to end-users of our TV Search solutions via phone, email or chat, perform on-site installation and training for high-profile customers (roughly 5% - 10% travel per year), properly identify and escalate priority issues and feature requests to the Development Team, and demonstrate consistent deep understanding of the administrative and end-user features of our TV Search and Monitoring solutions.Requirements Ability to work full-time 8-hour shift during overnight hours approximately during the midnight to 8 am US CDT time range (Sunday night / Monday morning - Friday morning) A focused work location such as a dedicated home office, etc.If you are in Houston, you can also use our offices. Excellent face-to-face, phone, and email interpersonal skills, rapport and etiquette 3+ years providing technical support of enterprise software and hardware solutions to users in B2B environment Experience with common Networking, PC and Mac troubleshooting tools Deep understanding of IP networks, TCP/IP, HTTP, etc. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail Real passion for servicing customers and a strong urge to tackle their problems Shown sense of ownership, accountability and quality - not satisfied with mediocrity Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure while demonstrating perseverance and patience Experience with client and server computer hardware and software Experience with network architecture and hardware Experience with ticketing software Experience in writing technical knowledge base articles for customer use Ability to travel 5-10% Nice to haveExperience with TV broadcasting or cable/satellite television systemsRecommended Tools and Environments Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 Windows 7, 8 and 10 Mac OS X 10.6.3+ IIS and IIS Express Microsoft SQL server, MySQL Active Directory TCP/IP Networking RAID storage Windows Performance Monitor Web browsers including Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari Zendesk Jira BenefitsSnapStream offers health insurance*, vision and dental, life insurance, a flexible spend account (FSA), a generous parental leave program, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.
