Job description

DescriptionMinneapolis, MNSr. Systems Administrator6 months contractupon offer, candidates must complete a background and drug screen*Summary: As a member of a project team focused on ensuring the continued security of the company's Sr. Systems Administrator role is responsible to identify, design, plan, test and implement corrective actions to close vulnerabilities on Microsoft and UNIX platforms and related applications.Essential Job Duties Assists in designing and documenting corrective action, vulnerability, mitigation and full remediation action plans. Drives expedited mitigation of vulnerabilities by scheduling, coordination, testing and implementing required changes. Utilizes advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience to turn raw data into actionable information and reports. Provides end-user support and training to ensure the adoption of new processes and technology changes being implemented. Lead and coordinate work efforts of other team members to meet tactical and strategic goals. Reports and escalates issues appropriately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with infrastructure and application owners to validate mitigation opportunities and options. Preferred Experience Vulnerability remediation or related security experience highly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to organize, plan and document all steps required to implement technical changes. Experience administrating Windows servers and workstations in a medium-to-large size environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system. PowerShell or VBS scripting experience. Network administration experience is a plus but not required.
