Job description

We have an immediate position to work with one of the leading Telecom industry client . Its a Full time Direct Hire position to be based out in Dallas/Fort-Worth Texas area.

As an AWS Developer/Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for weekly production deployments through our CI/CD process, Create CI/CD Pipelining & get handoff done to Deployments Teams and as well as managing our non-production environments that includes: Build, Automation, DevQA, Integration, Certification, Deployment and Performance. You will be responsible for enabling AWS services and technologies and maintaining our Infrastructure-As-A-Service artifacts (i.e. CloudFormation, Chef Scripts, etc). This is an extensive hands on /Individual contributor role within Managerial Cadre.

Environment includes:

AWS VPC, Subnets (Private and Public), Security Groups, ALB, ELB, Auto-Scale Groups, Multi-AZ applications and services

Redis, Postgres, Redshift, RDS MySQL, RDS Aurora, SES, SNS, SQS.

Amazon DMS (Data Migration)

Must Haves: Hands on experience in working with -

1.CI/CD pipelining

  1. CloudFormation Templates from scratch

  2. Scripting (either Shell, Bash or Python)

  3. AWS Resources (EC2, VPC, MySQL RDS, Aurora, Redis, QS, SNS, Lambda, Load Balancer, Route 53, DNS, S3, EFS), Postgres - S3, Redis, AWS Suite of Application Monitoring (CloudWatch plus equivalent to New Relic, Prometheus)

  4. Jenkins Build / Deploy

  5. AWS Autoscaling

  6. EKS, Kubernetes, Docker

  7. Agile

Good to Haves:

  1. BitBucket / Artifactory usage

  2. Security Gateway

  3. Networking concepts, including private / public, protocols

  4. Chef config management

  5. Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

  6. Saltstack
