You're invited to be an Intern with our Technology Team.

This is a 12-week paid learning experience with our team of project managers, technicians, web developers, and engineers, all working like a well-oiled machine to keep our network running and our customers connected.

As a technology associate you will learn and integrate new technologies and use a large variety of different tools and methods. You will be involved with integration of new sites and maintaining the current network while continuously learning and solving problems. This group is also responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art data center where you will have responsibilities of monitoring and troubleshooting critical facilities such as HVAC, power, fiber and hundreds of routers located on premise and remote. You will work closely with other field technicians, RF engineers and development managers in the NJ market, giving you great visibility throughout the organization. This role is heavily data driven and a requirement is the knowledge of some scripting languages such as bash, python, html as well as Microsoft applications Excel, Power point and or Power Apps.

As a technology associate you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different roles; including integrator, developer, analyst, technician and engineer. We are looking for candidates who are innovative, customer focused and interested in becoming part of the Un-carrier.

Responsibilities
Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

  • Uses your knowledge of programming to automate day-day operational tasks, deployments and monitoring tasks applications and platforms.
  • Participates in integration, developing & managing the current and future T-Mobile network.
  • Implement monitoring, dashboards, escalations and alerts.
  • Facility management in coordination with several 3rd party vendors including JLL CEM team.
  • Driving ongoing improvements and efficiency in operational practices, tools and processes.
  • Supports coverage, capacity, and performance planning on the T-Mobile network. Participates in development, testing, and validation of RF feature plan proposals.
  • Follows implementation guidelines for approved new features and technologies.
  • Applies engineering principles to design and optimize network coverage, performance, and capacity.

Qualifications
You're currently enrolled in college and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree with a Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology, Mathematics, Project Management, Statistics or Telecommunications focus.

You're a self-starter with a passion for learning who is not afraid to ask questions.

Recruiting Timeline

We'll be connecting with candidates and begin screening in January. If we think you're a good fit for one of our roles, we'll contact you directly to discuss next steps. Interviews will start to take place in late January and all internships will be filled by the end of March.
