Job description

To grow our magnificent IT team we're looking for a creative and talented  Engineer in IT Operations.

We care about teamwork, technical excellence, delivering value, positivity, constant improvement, growth and innovation.

As an Engineer specializing in IT Operations, you will be working on the software components which build the core of our company and making sure they run safe and sound.
This includes self-developed services, installations of third party software, as well as our build pipeline.
A part of this position also is developing own tooling components in your preferred language like Python, Golang, PHP or JS.

Your Profile

  • A great working attitude, willing and eager to learn and develop yourself and those around you
  • Proficient in spoken and written  English
  • Good communicator inside of your team and also with other teams and departments
  • Mastery of own tool set (operating system, IDE, debugging etc.)
  • Ability to write technical documentation
  • You're working organized, self-reliant and reliable
  • Experience in software development and agile development processes
  • Experience in object-oriented programing languages (e.g. Go, Groovy, Python, ...) and also scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, ...)
  • Know the concept, setup and maintenance of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ...)
  • Knowledge of AWS and Docker
  • Awareness for IT- and Data Security
  • And how build pipelines and deployment chains are setup
  • Sense for automating things
  • Proficient in the field of containerization technologies
  • You have worked in a cloud-native environment before


  • A degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering
  • Several years of experience in a technology focussed work environment
  • Experience with monitoring & reporting and web development (e.g. Nginx, PHP, Node, ...).
  • Experience with Database systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Experience with IT security and penetration testing.
  • Experience with the Kanban process
