Job description

The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Community manages Covestro’s financial processes. It is also responsible for providing legal services and IT solutions to the company as a whole.

The Department Identity Management & Security Operations (IMSO) operates IT security services globally for Covestro.

  • In your new role you will design and maintain Covestro’s it security architectures on a global scale

You assess market technologies and develop security solutions for Covestro considering business requirements and demands

You ensure ongoing optimization using newest technologies and product enhancements, covering digital identity, identity and access management, infrastructure security, and cyber defense

In addition, you oversee all IT security aspects of development and deployment of data and system integration projects at Covestro

You give advice in transforming existing environments into target-state with adherence to improved tool sets, methodologies and best practices

You develop and maintain security service catalogs or portfolios of services based on Covestro service characteristics and business requirements

Furthermre you will continually monitor the application architecture and associated security technologies and improve the architecture in order to meet performance and risk management objectives

  • You are always a step ahead in using technologies, solving problems and creating an integrated user experience

What you offer

  • You have a technical or university degree in information technology or a comparable qualification

  • Ideally, you have already gained sound professional experience in the IT department of a global corporation and in working with solution architects, service managers and technical experts

  • You have experience in steering and managing projects with full responsibility and are able to work with people from different cultures

  • You have very good knowledge of information security practices and solutions including, recovery, audit and control methods and concepts, information risk assessment & treatment

  • You have experience in security technologies, products and solutions, such as identity and access management, and infrastructure security

  • ITIL, CISSP, CISM or comparable it-certification, especially in the area of it security would be an advantage

  • You have worked in a (highly) regulated environment before

  • Fluent English, written and spoken, round off your profile
