Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Mumbai, India.

Year of experience: 2-4 years


Key Result Areas include:
Build and manage production, QA and development environments in AWS and GCP cloud.
Work on assigned tasks to deliver on DevOps’s team’s key objectives of system availability, performance and cost management.
Work with security team on Implementing security processes and controls
Work closely with our developers to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
Participation in the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies to support new product initiatives
Be part of DevOps’s 24/7 on-call support and troubleshoot production issues as required
Manage assigned tasks in JIRA and communicate issues and status to stakeholders

Self-motivated: You can work with a minimum of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritising multiple tasks in a proactive manner.

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related subject.
2-4 years of system administration and DevOps experience in AWS and GCP environments
2-4 years of experience in Kubernetes preferably in AWS environment.
Experience with DevOps CI/CD and monitoring tools like Jenkins and NewRelic
Programming and debugging experience in one of the most popular languages (Python, Node.JS or Ruby).
Good understanding of system availability, security and performance management.
Experience with Git or similar tool
Excellent troubleshooting skills and desire to resolve system issues
AWS and GCP certifications a plus
