Job description

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
* Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an software engineering discipline
* Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering software
* Proficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm
* Working knowledge of infrastructure components. (E.g. routers, load balancers , cloud products , container systems , compute, storage and networks)
* Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills
* Scripting & Configuration - UNIX shell or other system level scripting, SQL scripting. Apache and Tomcat - Application Server experience
* Oracle DB - Functional knowledge of SQL; Practical implementation experience of schemas, SQL Tuning knowledge and stored procedures
* Additional experience is desired with Java, Informatica, Monitoring tools (Geneos) and Scheduling tools (Autosys, Control M) are desired.
* Familiarity of DevOps and SRE best practices and principles
