Job description

  • 7+ years of strong hold on Unix and good with shell scripting
  • Excellent knowledge of build tools like Jenkins, Service now
  • Hands on knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys, control M
  • Tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, Geneos, Kafka, Cassandra
  • Experience on big data technology hive, impala, spark, cluster computing
  • Exposure to cloud, Apache, Tomcat
  • Exposure to ticket tracking tools and understanding of SLA
  • Hands on with DR activities
  • Good knowledge on relational databases - SQL Server or Oracle
  • Readiness to automate processes in various languages
  • Solid understanding of object oriented design methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with producing efficient and maintainable code following Agile SDLC
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • A proven team lead with excellent communications skills
  • Attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Is endlessly curious about applications and application stability
  • Takes a measure twice, cut once approach to application changes
  • Experience with configuration management and performance tools
