You'll be responsible for overall team management and mentoring of staff, as needed. Business Area

Institutional Equities covers a number of business activities including Equities Trading, Sales and Research. The Equities business is a truly global business and is a major business area for J.P. Morgan with an aggressive growth plan envisaged over the next few years in Asia

This is a senior manager role responsible for managing all the Equities production management teams in Asia Pacific. You will be working closely with the regional and global Equities leads across business, product, project management and technology teams. You are responsible for keeping the highest production stabilities and system availabilities for JP Morgan's internal and external users. Define and implement solutions and drive transformation with our agenda on monitoring, resiliency, incident & problem management and automation in DevOps and SRE

General responsibilities
* Drive production stability for all JP Morgan's Equities trading systems across APAC
* Lead senior stakeholders management with head of trading desk and technology managers
* Manage, maintain and attract talents for multiple functional and regional teams in APAC
* Responsible for incident, problem and change management as well as resiliency plans
* Define strategies and drive transformation into DevOps and SRE with focus on automation
* Lead production governance meetings with compliance and control agenda
* Represent APAC and drive global initiatives in CIB production management teams

Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Strong domain knowledge of APAC Equities and markets business in below area(s)

  • Cash Equities, Electronic Trading, Futures & Options, Equity Derivatives, Prime Brokerage
    * Strong end to end technology support knowledge in front, middle and back office systems
    * Proven management experiences of leading large technology teams across locations
    * Demonstrate excellent communication and client facing skills with senior stakeholders
    * Ability to lead under a highly pressure environment and be able to make sound decisions
    * Strong analysis, problem solving and investigation skills
    * Proven experiences of leading and successful delivery of large scale technology projects
    * Lead in innovation and focus on training and developing talents within the teams

Preferred Technical Skills
* Understanding of technologies in OMS, Electronic Trading, Risk and Position management
* Understanding of FIX protocols
* Familiar with operations under Linux environment
* Experiences of supporting applications on internal or external Cloud
* Familiar with modern deployments using CI/CD
* Be able to code in programming or scripting language

* Degree in Computer Science or Scientific Discipline
