Job description

Responsibilities:

Design & Recommend self-healing and resiliency patterns
Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
Strong ability to troubleshoot application defects.
Participate in and manage Incident Management and Problem Management processes to resolve Production issues and root cause analysis, resolution, and reporting.
Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale.
Drive closure of multiple Regulatory / Technology Audits and Assessments.
Delivering JPMC initiative and process improvement projects on time and in-scope.
Plan, participate in application upgrades, releases, sustained resiliency, disaster recovery, high availability events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an software engineering discipline
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with Unix and Windows platform
Proficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm
Working knowledge of infrastructure components. (E.g. routers, load balancers, cloud products, container systems, compute, storage and networks)
Strong in UNIX / Perl scripting, Database / SQL queries
Strong knowledge of Securing Coding practices & remediation of Security Vulnerabilities.
Experience in managing & Continuous integration / development toolkits like GIT/Subversion/Jenkins/Sonar/Junit etc.
Experience deploying & supporting microservices, cloud based applications
Strong ownership, collaboration, and communication skills
Should be familiar with various tools such as Control-M, GENEOS, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jenkins / Jules, etc.
Exposure/competence with Agile Development approach
