Job description

As an experienced Infrastructure Development professional, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability will help your team deliver high-quality products. You'll be instrumental in solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDKs. You'll see your ideas come to life as part of a small, success-driven team. Your quest to embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, implementation and delivery
* Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
* Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory)
* Good knowledge of REST/SOAP/JSON web service API implementation
* Experience creating Ansible playbooks
* Experience with front-end development (Javascript) is a plus
* Able to identify manual tasks and develop automation to solve problems in a modern SRE support model
* Experience with programmatic methods of network device interaction (RESTCONF/YANG)
* 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi and network security in large-scale (500+ routers) enterprise environments
* Knowledge of virtualization and cloud AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker; 'Hands-on keyboard' AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services.
* Experience with three or more of the following networking areas: SD-WAN, LAN switching, Wi-Fi, cellular, network security, QoS. Certifications in these areas are preferred, but not required.
* Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go
* Experience with developing frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity, improving code health and technical standards
* Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large-scale software development, security software development
* Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
* Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
* Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
* Ability to consult with product stakeholders to ascertain and define need or requirements for the scope of work required to obtain solution
* Experience with the Objectives and Key Results definition process and an ability to manage towards Objectives and Key Results
